Hamlin Knight are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join one of the exhibition industry's biggest names.

The role is to sell exhibition stands via telesales and face-to-face to both new and existing clients. It is expected that you will grow existing business and be responsible for sourcing all new sales leads from the trade press, competitive events, web sites and directories etc. You will be expected to visit rival exhibitions to meet clients. You will be expected to understand the market sufficiently and ideally have a real interest in what you sell, to achieve a consistent sales approach matching the needs of the client to the event. You will be expected to forecast sales and manage your personal sales pipeline on an on-going basis. You should have a solid understanding and experience in rebooking Exhibitions on site.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:
*90% sales, carried out through telephone sales and some face-to-face meetings. Ability to source and close new business is essential. Ability to manage own sales pipeline.
*10% support for other show team activities such as floor plan management, or support of other events
*Become an industry expert in house
*Source, manage and contract sales revenue to hit sales targets

The ideal candidate will have sales experience, preferably within b2b media or exhibition sales and will demonstrate success in growing revenue through new business. You will need to demonstrate a flexible approach to sales, using different techniques as required, be enthusiastic and pro-active
