An Apprentice Training and Development Officer is required to provide support for a Coventry based luxury car manufacturing organisation. The Apprentice Training and Development Officer role is a temporary assignment for 6 months and is paying up to GBP28 per hour.

Role responsibilities:

* Acting as the focus for delivering engineering training and support to Apprentices within Body Engineering to ensure that they achieve required level of engineering competences
* Leading and delivering training and support to those who act as mentors across body engineering in order to make them more effective as mentors
* Developing skills matrix, tracking and reporting of training requirements and interventions
* Developing training material (such as lessons, practical sessions, and annual curriculum) and delivering it in training lessons and practical sessions
* Delivering and tracking progress against the training delivery plan

The ideal person will have:

* Engineering or related degree or deep engineering experience
* Experience of working in a Training environment
* Capability in using Virtual Engineering tools, such as CAD or CAE
* Demonstrate ability to manage projects effectively
* Stakeholder management experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Advanced MS Office user in Excel and Power Point
* Clean UK car driver's licence
