Based just outside the centre of Birmingham this small, but excellent, primary school is looking for a first rate graduate to provide interventions to Year 5 pupils that need extra support in English, literacy and mathematics for the academic year. The role is for an immediate start, running until July 2018.

The school need support in both literacy and numeracy so it is essential that candidates are strong in Mathematics and English. There is a mix of abilities within the interventions working with small groups of pupils, some who have fallen behind and some who have special educational needs.

The ideal candidate must be passionate and committed about a career as a primary school teacher, in return the school offer a continuous development programme and unparalleled support from the colleagues and management.

The school are keen to recruit a graduate that can use their initiative as well as plan their own activities as they won't have the direction of a teacher at all times.
