Accountancy Elite have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a fast growing company, who's goals are to provide clients with the best possible service, but in a unique way. The candidate will be reporting directly to the Operations Director and be responsible for a all accounting functions within the business, including but not limited to, accounting, tax, budget & audit activities.
·To provide clear budgetary planning and ensure that all financial practices are in line with statutory legislation and other relevant regulations
·Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget and accounting
·Supervise and participate in the preparation of various financial statements and reports
·Responsible to present all required financial reports, statements and forecasts to the board on time and clearly, and to review these with the board
·Direct the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records
·Direct and participate in cost analyses and rate studies
·Direct internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls
·Establish system controls for financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems
·Manage and maintain the company budget, communicating regularly with those responsible across the company to ensure achievement
SALARY - £30,000 - £40,000 (DOE) - Working Hours 7.30-4.30pm Mon to Thu & 7.30-3.30pm Fri
REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS
·A flair for numbers, with ability to anticipate impacts of workload/issues to team deadlines
·Strong experience in financial report analysis with ability to make recommendations to improve the results
·Ability to apply excellent accuracy in all areas - bookkeeping, data entry, reporting, etc
·Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting purposes
·Experience with MS Dynamics NAV or equivalent, and Business Intelligence
·Strong interpersonal skills to encourage improvements across different teams
·Strong verbal and written communication skills
·Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
·Presentation skills in view of presenting and explaining financial reports to the board
