Exciting new role to provide marketing support to the UK sales team to directly influence growth of all TBS products (assays and instrumentation) from a tactical (one year) and strategic (2-5 years) point of view

Principal Duties and Responsibilities.

- Development of UK specific marketing literature (eg slides, flyers, brochures, posters, literature summaries etc).
- Design and delivery of UK marketing campaigns (eg mailouts, eBlasts, training).
- Develop, manage and maintain tools to capture key customer information to help inform UK strategy (both tactical and strategic) (eg Oncology/IS continuum, product usage database, competitive instrument database etc).
- Attend, learn and present data at key meetings/conferences for all TBS products.
- Work closely with TBS Global Marketing, assisting in the design, organization, execution and monitoring of pre- and post-market field trials to confirm product performance, maximize product positioning, and meet organization goals and objectives.
- Participate as internal consultant and ad-hoc member of project/product development teams in providing scientific/technical input to ensure that clinical utility of company's products meets clinical need.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitive activities , assess those and develop in interaction with the scientific affairs team appropriate commercial counter or attack activities.
- Prepare executive summaries as necessary to address organizational goals and objectives.
- Work closely with the UK Sales Team to develop tools/strategies that optimize growth of sales due to optimal usage of TBS products.
- Survey UK landscape for growth opportunities (eg trials, government initiatives, customer needs, competitive activities/issues etc)
- Develop and maintain understanding and relationships with UK Guideline authorities (eg NICE) and product innovation/access bodies (eg AHSN, DEC etc).
- Develop and maintain relationships with UK patient bodies in key disease areas (eg Myeloma, PID, MS)
Help set-up and manage UK Sales-driven exhibitions/conferences. In particular preparing the necessary advertising literature and delegate packs

Essential:

- Experience within the Diagnostic / Lifescience industry in sales/marketing
- Free to travel internationally
- Market knowledge and experience in selling and marketing clinical diagnostic or Life Sciences products
- Ability to quickly develop trust and working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Team player able to communicate effectively in a manner consistent with professional etiquette with all levels within the Company and with the Customer base
- Strong track record in prioritizing and simultaneously managing multiple projects (activities) in a fast paced environment for timely completion of projects
- Ability to achieve goals with minimal to moderate supervision and direction
- Strong professional and interpersonal skills to effectively operate on a national/international (Ireland) basis (i.e., aptitude for working with diverse groups and appreciation of business)
- Basic data management skills, ie Microsoft Office
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent personal communication skills
- Good driving record
- Market knowledge and experience in selling and marketing clinical diagnostic or Life Sciences products
- Free to travel internationally

Desirable:

- Extensive sales experience and sales/marketing track record
- No more than 3 penalty points on driving licence
- Degree in medical science related field eg Biochemistry, Biomedical Science etc
- Central UK location
