To be considered you must be an ambitious and dedicated Science graduate who has earned a second class degree or better and has the skills to adopt a caring and enthusiastic approach to SEN pupils. The Teaching Assistant will have the will to succeed and the ability to motivate those around them. The school is looking for a graduate Teaching Assistant who can show the passion needed for a career in teaching and prove a desire to work in education. The perfect candidate is a graduate who can show their eagerness to take on extra-curricular activities such as after school clubs.

As a Science Teaching Assistant you will be supporting pupils either individually, in small groups or as a class. You will work closely with the class teacher and Head of Year to take responsibility for Science intervention programmes, having your own small groups of students outside of the classroom. This school has a system where each of their TA's and LSA's are assigned a talented mentor, in this case your will by supported by an experienced and highly thought after SENCO.
