We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bid manager to join our client based in Tamworth. This is a full time position offering a competitive salary and fantastic benefits on a permanent basis.

We are looking for candidates with previous Bid and Tender process experience and have exposure to working under pressure with the ability to run each individual bid from start to finish. This is a fast paced role where accuracy and attention to detail are paramount. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a highly successful organisation supporting the Groups Bid Manager.

Main Duties of the Bid Manager include:

  • Take responsibility for tenders and proposals across the business

  • Check all proposals, tenders and PQQ's once completed by Bid Coordinators

  • Create personalised content for each individual opportunity

  • Arrange team meetings to monitor progress

  • Oversee tender debriefs and analyse data of results

  • Maintain relationships with other departments

  • Submit company's proposals for client consideration

To be considered for the role of Bid Manager role, you will have:

  • Understand and have proven experience of the sales process and new sales leads

  • Bid and tender experience is essential

  • APMP qualification would be advantageous

  • Experience in planning and producing proposals

  • Experience of using Microsoft (word, Excel, Power Point, Access) and Indesign

  • Excellent communication skills

  • The ability to work to a high level of accuracy

  • Organised way of working
