One of my favourite clients are looking to bring in a talented, technically minded Product Manager to take ownership of the vast product category. My client are a highly successful business and have sustained consistent growth year on year, and this role is integral to that continued success.

As Product Manager, you will be the owner of the product catalogue, mapping products against key competitors, ensuring consistency and identifying ways to differentiate products.

Main duties include:
• Signing off specification for new products, ensuring consistency throughout the range.
• Explore new ways of improving products to result in a higher profit margin.
• Creating and developing a pricing strategy.
• Identify and present creative and innovative product solutions.
• Monitor and analyse competitor products.
• Updating product specification library.
• Coordinate product launches with the marketing team, ensuring marketing material communicates the key technical details.
• Leading category management projects to optimise ranges and related merchandising
• Provide regular category and market updates
• Manage supplier and internal group relationships

Key skills required:
• Educated to degree level
• Have a proven track with product and category development
• Ability to work with and engage with multiple stakeholders
• Confident, dynamic, ambitious and creative personality
• Able to act quickly on new ideas
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Keen eye for detail and working to deadlines, in a fast-moving environment
