Overall Job Purpose:To support the business drive for contracted annuity based servicesproviding pre and post-sales support to the Business DevelopmentExecutive and Sales Teams with the production of detailed and accuratecommercial models.As a Cost Analyst you will participate in the analytical support for themost complex opportunities and be able to deal directly with keyinternal stakeholders ensuring customer requirements are fullyunderstood and achieved whilst ensuring costing rules / processesrelating to the opportunity. Main Duties of the Job: As directed, form part of a team assigned to provide end to end commercial solutions for customers. Maintain existing commercial models and building of new resilient and reusable commercial models ensuring that any new information gained is fed back through change control. Active involvement in the bid process, documenting relevant and pertinent proposal material such as pricing assumptions for inclusion in Customer Proposals. Assist in pre bid commercial reviews and post bid due diligence in order to validate and / or update the pricing model. Work with the Customer Management, Service Delivery and Transition teams to develop or enhance commercial models based on market or customer knowledge / feedback. Assist with BAU pricing activities. Skills Knowledge & Experience: Minimum 4 years' experience in the IT services industry, which will have involved the development of commercial models, including analysis of costs. Experience of assisting sales personnel in the production of varying scale bids and proposals for IT solutions. Fundamental decisions are driven by pricing therefore a strong commercial awareness and global commercial governance is essential. Strong communication back ground including demonstrable understanding of the costs associated with the provisions of IT services. Understanding of ITIL methodology. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent understanding of commercial models - comfortable with the manipulation of commercial models within Microsoft Excel. Advanced understanding of Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel including Visual Basic. Graduate calibre with excellent analytical and numerical skills.
