Sales Ledger and Credit Controller
Page Personnel are exclusively paired with a large education institution based in Redditch seeking a Sales Ledger and Credit Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for duties from issuing invoices, cash allocation, managing debt analysis and recovery and preparation of statutory returns.
A large educational institution based in Redditch are looking to recruit a Sales Ledger and Credit Controller on a permanent basis to their established and stable finance team. They are based in Redditch and have a brilliant range of benefits as well as a competitive salary package.
The successful Sales Ledger and Credit Controller will act as a first point of contact for query resolution in relation to student debt. They will maintain communication records to support credit control activities, maintain sales ledger and credit control records, analyse outstanding debt and aim to improve 'chase up' procedures. They will issue invoices and credit notes respective to tuition fees, exam fees and determine VAT position. They will work towards individual and departmental KPIs - such as 100% of invoices to be raised, resolution of debtors issues within specific timescales and maintenance and improvement of relationships with internal and external customers.
The ideal Sales Ledger and Credit Controller will have:
- Previously worked to reduce debt in a finance team
- Worked across a sales ledger process
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Worked within education
- Worked in a KPI driven environment
A salary within the range of £17,781 to £19,776, along with 25 days annual leave and an additional 5 concessionary days of leave. There are also 2 weeks of 'close down' over Christmas and 1 week at Easter. The post holder will be subject to an enhanced DBS check in post.
