Hays Education are currently working exclusively on behalf of a Birmingham secondary school based in the city centre to recruit for a Music teacher for a full time, temporary vacancy. This is a full time teaching role up to KS4 and will be paid to the national teacher scale. The role is to start from October half term until at least Christmas with the possibility of extending.

Your new role
This role is offered as a full time, temporary teaching role. In your new secondary teaching job you will be expected to plan interesting and challenging Music lessons that will engage pupils and you will have the natural ability to deliver them with confidence and enthusiasm. You will need to be experienced teaching up to KS4 and be familiar with the current curriculum. Full participation in school life is a requirement at this school.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your new teaching job you will have completed your studies and hold QTS. You will be an experienced Music teacher that is passionate about student progress and is committed to helping pupils to achieve their academic potential. The ideal candidate would have been in a long term or permanent teaching role and will be able to supply Hays with outstanding references from the previous employer.
