Hours: 37.5 over 5 days

Work Pattern: Monday - Friday

Overview:

West Midland Safari Park are sourcing applicants for the role of Human Resources Officer. The Human Resources Officer is responsible for providing support and advice in a variety of HR functions, the role requires a HR generalist with a pro-active and confidential approach. The successful candidate will actively keep up to date with developments in UK/EU legislation, employment law and HR industry best practice.

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

    Promote a positive working environment, providing pro-active advice and support to the Management team on matters concerning employee relations, change management, best practice approach, performance management and employee wellbeing.Liaise with members of Management across all departments to clearly define and support their recruitment needs.Seek ways of improving current HR processes and procedures, providing clear and detailed feedback to the HR Manager.Assist the HR Manager to monitor, review and implement changes to HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are communicated to the workforce.Work collaboratively with the Management team to support and deliver the training of HR policies and procedures.Work collaboratively with the Management team to define the training and development needs of employees, ensuring these meet the requirements of both business standards and legal compliance.Manage operational case loads as required including Disciplinary, Grievance and capability/conduct matters. Any other duties required to assist in supporting the achievement of department and / or Company objectives.

Education / Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 CIPD qualification.
