Role Purpose: - Stainless Steel / DUPLEX Welding - Carbon Steel Welding - Nickel Chrome Welding Aluminium Welding - Monel (Ni/Cu Alloy) Welding - Documentation control Key Activities: - Experienced in Welding safety critical pressure vessels and pipework. - Mechanical testing of work that requires consistently passing inspection. - Follows weld maps. - Maintains documentation as life time records are kept. - Must be a Good Team Worker with Good communications skills to insure information is passed from one shift to another. Essential experience, knowledge and skills: - Apprentice Trained - Engineering/Craft Studies/Welding Operations. - Engineering based Qualifications previously held coded weld Qualifications. - 3-5 Years in either Nuclear or Engineering Sector (Essential) or Aerospace/Defence/Oil & Gas sector (Desirable). - Operational experience of welding.
