A leading aviation management consultancy is seeking a Sales Manager to build upon a period of impressive growth and develop its customer base with airlines around the world. Liaising with airlines and MRO organisations across the globe, this is an excellent opportunity for a Sales Manager to play an integral role in the development of an exciting organisation. Scope of work Liaising with leading airlines around the world, as Sales Manager you will be responsible for securing business for a host of MRO organisations. These companies range in size from the top ten largest in the world to smaller businesses, and contract their sales and marketing functions to this aviation management consultancy. They specialise in numerous fields including maintenance analysis, engine sales & maintenance and engine leasing. Home-based but engaging in regular international travel, as Sales Manager you will be tasked with developing business with both new and existing customer accounts across Europe. In addition to this, your responsibility will expand to specific accounts in North America and Africa. Self-motivated, you will arrange meetings with airlines across this territory to establish their requirements and develop agreements for the MRO's you represent. Reporting into the Director of Sales, you will build upon relationships established by both the consultancy and yourself, developing new business opportunities and converting them into sales. You will also be required to create a weekly report in order to give the senior management team a clear picture of all projects running You will: - Have experience and a proven record selling into the aviation MRO sector - Be self-motivated and driven to develop sales opportunities with both new and existing accounts - Be willing to travel across both internationally on a regular basis The company The company currently turns over $20m per annum and sells into small to mid-sized airlines around the world, covering regions including Europe, Middle-East, Asia and North America. Established for over 30 years, they are contracted as the sales and marketing arm for both small and large MRO organisations, including some of the biggest in the world. Why apply? The company is paying a basic salary of £55,000-£60,000 with an uncapped bonus of 0.2% of all sales generated. A typical year could potentially see a candidate earn an additional £25,000 in bonuses on top of this basic salary. The package also includes 24 days holiday + 8 stats.
