The Company

My client is an extremely well established and well recognised business, providing information management and digital transformation services to some of the biggest companies in the world, spanning across a variety of sectors including Financial Services, Government, Mortgages, Automotive, Healthcare and Commercial industries.
This Business Development Manager role will be focussing on the sales of the Scanning services to the public sector (predominantly the NHS). With several scanning bureaus in the UK, my client has the capacity to provide high-volume, bulk document scanning and digitisation services, satisfying high-volume scanning requirements for enterprise clients, digitising hundreds of millions of documents annually.

The Role

This is a new sales Business Development Manager role, where the primary responsibility of the role is to achieve agreed targets for profitable sales of the companies scanning services and solutions, to existing and new customers within the assigned area, whilst creating and developing productive relationships with current customers.

As the Business Development Manager, your key duties will be;
*Drive the business in the allocated area to achieve and surpass sales targets and business goals and objectives.

*To use personal initiative to generate leads for potential sales to new and existing customers.

*To pursue self-generated leads, and leads identified by the marketing team to secure sales.

*To diligently use and maintain the CRM system so that at all times it is accurate and up-to-date for those contacts and companies assigned to the jobholder.

*To provide timely and accurate management information as and when required to aid the processes of performance monitoring and marketing.

*To attain the required standard of knowledge about the solutions/services portfolio in order to confidently identify new business opportunities and where appropriate present/demonstrate solutions.

*To prepare and take responsibility for the completion and presentation of sales proposals.

*To work closely with colleagues, specifically customer services and marketing, to ensure that our customers' experience of the business is positive and professional.

*To represent the company in a smart, professional and friendly manner.

*To attend meetings, seminars, training courses, exhibitions and other events as specified by your Line Manager.

*To provide timely, accurate and factual reports in accordance with company standards, format and current procedures.
