Contract Type
Full Time
Are you an experienced team leader working with people who have learning disabilities? Looking for a new opportunity?

Based at our Shrewsbury office, you'll manage three supported living services in the area. This will mean supporting five to seven adults who have a range of learning disabilities and other needs, and managing each staff team, all providing 24 x 7 cover. It's likely that a fourth service will be added over time.

You'll work with your staff teams effectively, spotting and encouraging talent, using your creative leadership skills to manage performance and do everything you can to enable both staff and people we support to thrive.

We'll give you a lot of support as the role develops, and you'll be working on a day-to-day basis as part of the local management team, so there will be plenty of opportunities to swap ideas and problem-solve together.

You'll need to be a visible presence across the different shifts people are working, and you'll also be part of the monthly on-call rota for emergencies.

You must be a driver with your own transport (with business insurance), both to travel around the different services and for meetings and training in the area and sometimes elsewhere in the country.
