Location: Oldbury

Salary: £16,038.24 + 15% Flexibility Payment

Shifts: Weekdays, Weekends and Night Working

Make one of these exciting new Customer Advisor roles yours and you could soon be working in a dynamic team environment in a highly professional contact centre. There, you’ll deal with AA customer breakdowns and queries, interact with various AA departments and liaise with external business partners. Most calls will be outbound and based around making sure customers that are in a breakdown situation are kept up-to-date throughout, including letting them know what time the patrol will arrive and whether there may be any delays or a sudden change of resource. In short, whatever problem they face, you’ll be the friendly and reassuring person at the other end of the line that helps resolve it.

To be a success, you’ll need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated, willing to work on a shift roster that includes some weekends and, above all, happy to pitch in and help others. If you’ve provided excellent customer service in a call centre environment before, or have experience dealing with members of the public in a similar role, even better (though this is not essential). What is for certain is that you have great communication skills and love working as part of a team and building strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels. What’s more, because you’ll often deal with people in stressful situations, it’s vital that you have what it takes to instantly put customers at ease and confidently seek a pragmatic solution.
