Graduate 1st Line Support Engineer

Graduate 1st Line Support Engineer required to join a long standing and profitable company within the housing sector. This is a permanent opportunity based in Stoke with a salary circa £18-21k per annum.

The Role

You will report to the ICT Support Team Leader. He/she will Provide first line technical support for the company's ICT network and telephony, enabling Group to use the applications effectively and ensure the smooth delivery of the company's support helpdesk. Elements of Support to Group projects may also be allocated.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the ICT Support Team Leader and Officers with helpdesk queries

* Ensure issues are resolved within agreed service level targets and log third party support calls
* Support the testing of new development and applications enhancements
* Promote smarter ways of working across the organisation
* Maintain the hardware and software inventory to track all ICT assets
* Support the whole ICT team with administrative duties
* Deliver consistently outstanding customer service ensuring that our customer's satisfaction levels remain high
* Liaise with business users to determine department specific issues and support with smarter ways of working
* Provide assistance/cover for other members of the ICT team as required
* Assist with set up and usage of ICT hardware including laptops, terminals, telephones and mobile devices

Required Qualifications and Certifications

* BTEC National Diploma for IT Practitioners (Desirable)
* CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certification (MCP) (Desirable)
* Access to a vehicle and a full driving license for work purposes (Desirable)
