This Learning Support Assistant role requires a directed and passionate graduate who has already held a school-based position and has the ability to communicate with pupils of varying abilities. As a Learning Support Assistant you should have a desire to learn and develop your teaching skills in this school, you must be able to establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them in accordance with their individual needs. This Learning Support Assistant role requires you to work constructively as part of a team.

This Learning Support Assistant position involves providing group booster and intervention sessions for groups of students and helping others one to one. Part of your role as Learning Support Assistant will include supporting SEN pupils through the academic, social and personal elements of school life. Duties as a Learning Support Assistant will include assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care Programmes as well as implementing literacy and numeracy programmes. As Learning Support Assistant you will be working closely with the class teacher to plan lessons which incorporate the use of the classroom resources. Part of this Learning Support Assistant role will see you assisting in creating stimulating displays and managing resources.
