National Service Manager
My client are a large multi-national automated equipment manufacturer.
As part of the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for developing, promoting the growth, and meeting financial targets for all projects within the Service and Solutions criteria performed within the Service Department.
You will have a sound knowledge of automated equipment or robotics and associated application equipment, ideally gained from automotive or related industries.
You will have proven experience of customer relationship management and seeking out selling opportunities for products and services. You will have a sound commercial awareness with the ability to understand customer requirements and assess internal / external strengths and weaknesses along with experience of compiling tender documents and proposals.
Strategic and financial planning experience coupled with budget management and project cost control experience would be desirable but not essential. Experience of delivering presentations would be advantageous but again, not essential.
You will be methodical and accurate with strong communication, negotiation, influencing and persuading skills. You will be self motivated and results driven and have the ability to prioritise and plan workloads and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will need to have a flexible approach and be able to work independently and within a team. Previous experience of managing a team of direct reports is desirable.
Technically you will be familiar with the servicing of electro-mechanical equipment, ideally from within the automation industry.
