Jumar specialises in helping users of the software development tool CA Gen to get the most out of their existing system, or to migrate to newer technologies.Job Purpose:•To deliver system support across a number of international sites.•To support and troubleshoot system problems and provide insight in system improvements and have the ability to deliver solutions.Main Responsibilities:•Handle incidents raised by the customer on a daily basis to SLAs as part of support package•Liaise with end users to troubleshoot technical issues within constraints of agreed SLAs•Develop solutions when required on a backlog of incidents•Maintain accurate records of support queries and formulate recommendations to prevent future repeated issues•Accurate time recording as required by the service definitions; 2nd line / 3rd line.Skills/Experience Required•Proven track record of developing and understanding C# code with knowledge of SharePoint•Thorough understanding of SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures and Functions•Experience using Visual Studio Team Foundation Server•Exposure to and a good understanding of the following is highly desirable:oSQL Server basic database administrationoKnowledge of K2 workflowoKnowledge of BizTalk Orchestrations and the BizTalk Rule EngineoKnowledge of AssystoExperienced within Marine InsuranceQualificationsComputer Science Degree (or equivalent)Personal Characteristics:•Very high attention to detail coupled with a focus on quality•Must demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving•Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well; both written and verbal•The ability to work well both on an individual basis and within a team•Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate activities and to handle multiple tasks•Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines•Driven, energetic and enthusiastic, with a ‘can do, will do’ approach
