Are you sitting at your PC thinking you've gone as far as you can? Do you feel you can't learn any more in your current role? Well why not take a look at this job...? We're after a Software Engineer to join a small team within a large, fast-growth firm for whom technology is an absolutely key driver within their industry. They can't afford to sit still and, as such, they can offer you the chance to learn new skills and have exposure to large-scale systems on which you're constantly learning. The type of development you'll undertake revolves around solving difficult issues around business logic. I've recruited a number of Developers within this team who tell about the complexity of development whilst they never feel over-worked or under any serious pressure due to the team structure and division of duties. The Development Manager sets the bar high when it comes to assessing .NET framework and SQL knowledge at interview, though he isn't concerned if you're bringing a C# or VB.NET background. All new development is C# and WPF (and there is also a team purely focused on web application development using ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS4). However this team is purely focused on back end development so we don't need a front end expert by any means. You'll get the opportunity to work alongside Senior Developers who are some of the best in the region, as well as being pushed by Graduates chomping at the bit to learn and be mentored by more experienced .NET Developers. You'll work in an informal environment where you'll adopt the best-fit methodology and approach - your team aren't wedded to one particular way of working as they have a variety of projects of different scale, complexity and urgency. This company are well established so can offer a secure job with clear definition on personal objectives - I can personally testify to development opportunities having witnessed a number of Devs being promoted purely down to ability and delivery. Salary package is up to £50k plus a bonus, good pension, on-site parking and more. I realise you'll want some more information so please drop me a line at neilesh dot sood at modis dot co dot uk or ************
