Full Stack Web Developer

A Full Stack Web Developer is needed to join the team of developers for our client a global re-insurers and a leading provider of 'closed life' services in Telford. They will be responsible for developing code to a high standard on the core platform (Angular/C#).

Key Role Responsibilities of the Full Stack Web Developer

  • Working with the Pod Leads, define the detailed design for changes to Alpha screens and services, in line with the defined analysis of requirements;
  • Produce the detailed designs and test documentation as appropriate;
  • Support the design to the relevant governance bodies for review and approval.
  • Develop code to agreed standards on required platform (eg Angular/Web API/C#)
  • Carry out appropriate levels of unit and integration testing and ensure that appropriate testing artefacts produced and maintained.
  • Provide handover documentation and knowledge transfer to other teams to enable them to provide level 3 and 4 support for the production applications.
  • Adhere to and provide evidence to support relevant IT General Controls (ITGCs)
  • Provide guidance and oversight to minimise technical risk and business risk arising from technology and technical solutions. Undertake design and code reviews.
  • Ensure that all deliverables are developed to agreed and appropriate time, budget and quality;
  • Ensure that all Change Management, Software Configuration Management and other defined processes and controls are adhered to.
