1:1 teaching assistant required for Aldridge primary school.

Your new school
You will be working in an Ofsted Outstanding school within the Aldridge area of Walsall. The school have an excellent support system and have an excellent senior leadership team who want the very best for the children at the school and therefore provide thorough and regular support to all it's staff members.

Your new role
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will be working specifically with a Year 3 pupil who requires behaviour management and curriculum learning support on a full-time basis. You will support the class teacher in lesson planning and preparation for the pupil as well as monitoring pupil's progress and updating IEP's and other reports.

Your main responsibility is to ensure that the children and young people you support maximise their learning potential and work towards positive outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Teaching Assistant with a relevant teaching assistant qualification as well as recent experience working with similar aged pupils on a 1:1 basis. You will ideally have excellent behaviour management skills and a proven record of demonstrating positive outcomes when working with young children, particularly those with challenging behaviour.

You will be an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant that can engage and build positive relationships with students and inspire them to get the most out of their education.
