Are you a highly numeric and analytical Merchandising Assistant with stock and merchandising experience in a retail environment?
Our client is a country clothing, farming, household and DIY retailer. They are looking to bring in a Merchandising Assistant to help grow their Merchandising function - so a fantastic time to join!
So what does the Merchandising Assistant role involve?
You will support the Merchandiser to create stock plans, communicate stock forecast and develop mid and short term forecasting of ranges.
You will liaise with suppliers to resolve any delivery issues, raise category purchase orders and set up new suppliers.
You will work with the Merchandiser to ensure the availability of live products with particular emphasis on best sellers, promotions and key ranges.
The Merchandising Assistant will:
Have stock and merchandising experience within a retail environment.
Possess strong numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail.
Be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
Will be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
