Our client is a leader in their field, one of the fastest growing businesses in the UK and continues to enjoy growth and success. Due to this growth they are seeking a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their team.
Your new role
Working within a large finance department this role will supervise a small purchase ledger team and take responsibility for multiple business entities. You will ensure the team maintain high levels of accuracy, be responsible for all intercompany invoices, manage cash flow, reconcile nominal ledgers, review aged creditors and work with the procurement team. You will also support a new system integration and be able to drive efficiencies and implement change.
What you'll need to succeed
We need an experienced purchase ledger supervisor / manager who is AAT qualified, as a minimum, has excellent accounting knowledge and also experience within a fast paced environment. You will be working with multi currencies and multi entities with both high volume and high value invoices. Knowledge of UK VAT is required, and ideally also experience of overseas VAT. As a new system implementation is planned, experience of system migration and process re-engineering is a distinct advantage.
