We are now looking for Test Analyst to join our department in Stafford and test software, developed by our software analyst team. Reporting to the Test Manager the main aim of this role is to ensure that all test software fulfils requirements as defined in the document of change and has no adverse effects on existing functionality. As a Test Analyst you will generate and monitor the return of fault logs, compile user release and implementation notes as well as ensuring that delivery requirements are understood and carried out accordingly. Additionally, you will be required to prepare deliveries of verified software in accordance with specified procedures and where relevant, effectively communicate to the business with regards to testing and ongoing support. With a minimum of 5 GCSE’s (to include English and Maths), the successful candidate will ideally hold a relevant IT related degree or professional qualification. It is essential for you to have experience and knowledge of SQL and UNIX and you will have ideally come from a distribution / wholesale (or similar) industry - although this is not essential. We are looking for an analytical thinker with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and you will have the capacity to learn and develop your skills within this varied and interesting position.
