An exciting opportunity has arisen for permanent Mental Health Employment Advisor to join a not-for-profit care provider based in Stafford. In return you will receive a competitive salary which is dependent on achieving specific, set targets.

You will become a pivotal part of an organisation who delivers support in the local community. You will deliver services with dignity, respect and compassion, focusing on outcomes that help the people you support to enjoy everyday life.

You will assist people who are experiencing mental ill health to improve their quality of life by working to their Individual, Placement and Support model (IPS). You will be enabling individuals to gain and retain paid employment in the open competitive market. You will also identify work placements and paid employment opportunities with employers. This will increase people's confidence and skills and promotes social inclusion and independence.

An essential part of the Mental Health Employment Advisor role will require you to travel primarily throughout the Stafford and Moorlands area in order to meet the needs of the service

A professional, considerate, caring and committed individual, with excellent communication skills you will go the extra for the people you support and really have a passion for making a difference to the lives of the people you support.

A proven background supporting adults with a mental health diagnosis and the level 3 in health and social care or equivalent are essential to be considered for this vacancy. You will also hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle for business usage as working within the Stafford and Moorlands community is an essential part of this job role.
