Internal Sales Executive

Black Country

Permanent - Full time

£15,000 - £27,000 + Bonus

Our client is a well-established and leading Midlands based structural fabrication organisation. The company has a rapidly expanding portfolio of clients and bespoke services they can provide to their client base. They are now looking for an experienced sales executive to drive and develop the sales division forward.

The ideal candidate will come from the construction/engineering or metal industry and will have a competent and confident telephone manner and be determined to develop and build new business relationships. This exciting new role would be ideally suited to self-motivated individual with a proven track within engineering sales.

Training and development will be provided for their bespoke systems, product, company knowledge and Technical elements to the role.

The majority of the time will be developing outstanding clients/dormant client but will have elements of new business development.

Key responsibilities:

  • Development of new and existing business opportunities.
  • Work to KPI’s and targets to contribute to the sales target for both new and existing business
  • Market research and competitor analysis.
  • Cross selling of the varied range of products and services.
  • Producing quotationsand follow ups.
  • Update and maintain the internal CRM system.
  • Processing clients enquires and queries.

Key Competencies:

  • Technical sales experience.
  • Friendly, positive and "can do" attitude.
  • Good standard of numeracy skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • IT Literate. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
