About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our highly motivated and welcoming team. You will be based in our new Hive Café at TouchBase Pears in Birmingham.
You will ensure that the kitchen areas are clean and tidy and meet the required standard including Food Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations. You will prepare food and meals utilising food products, daily specials and menus effectively and economically. In addition, you will be required to collect and check delivers of stock and ensure that are stored correctly.
The café serves people Sense supports, the local community and also staff based at the location.
As our new Sous Chef, you will be part of a friendly team and there are always other people to turn to. We will support you to succeed in your role and our excellent training develops transferrable skills and qualifications. In addition, you will have the opportunity for you to join our Group Personal Pension scheme and a generous annual leave entitlement.
It is essential that you have some experience working in a food preparation capacity. You will also need to hold Level 2- 4 Certificates in Safety in Food Hygiene.
