Duties of the Operations Director - Improve and develop new operational processes and procedures - Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships - Operate at board level - Manage and motive people - direct reporting employees currently - Profit and loss experience and responsibility - Implementing service level agreements - Developing and building outstanding business relationships with suppliers, partners and customers - Champion positive customer oriented culture through all areas of the business - Manage Operations and help client relation to grow the business - Working with colleagues to ensure account growth is maximised - Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed account growth potential - Handling escalated technical issues and show fantastic technical problem solving The successful candidate should have the ability to exercise their role in the pursuit of achievement of the group strategy as a whole. In addition to this the role requires the capacity to understand and meet customer expectations where staffing ability is concerned. Skills & experienced - Very strong technical background within security systems - Hold an engineering background ideally within fire and security product manufacturing or related components - Strong man management skills - Outstanding communication skills and the ability to add value to the Directors Board - Implementation experience of SLAs - Knowledge and understanding of quality procedures within a technical environment - Willingness to progress and drive the business forward Operational capability: The client has an exceptional operations team nationally and in the region, especially which prides itself on continuity of the team and performance, their monitoring centre, managed internally is second to none.
