Exciting opportunities available for professional, motivated, warm and nurturing child care practitioners to join a Birmingham based residential service for children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours.

You will become a key part of a forward thinking childcare provider who is committed to delivering care and support which is warm, homely and encourages independent choice and living.

You will be required to work a varied shift pattern to include weekends and sleep ins on a rota basis. Working closely within a multi-disciplinary team, you will be involved in implementation of structure, setting firm boundaries, organising and participating in activities, attending meetings, cooking, cleaning, transporting and administrative duties on a daily basis

Applications will be considered from both experienced child care practitioners who are seeking the opportunity to work for a competent, professional and person centred provider and hold the QCF level 3 in health and social care and applicants with personal experience or knowledge of supporting young people within alternative childcare settings as full training will be provided.

Due to the nature of this role, flexibility to work varied shift patterns including sleeps ins is essential

You will be rewarded with a competitive salary up to £16575 depending on your relevant skills and experience, and will also receive a generous sleep in allowance and overtime rate. On going training and 5.6 weeks annual leave are also provided.
