We’re looking to welcome an experienced PR AD into our expanding client services team. This individual will play an instrumental role on one of our largest – and newest – integrated PR accounts and supported by a multi-talented team of PR and Social Media AM’s and AE’S. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading B2B accounts and ideally have experience of consumer PR too. Familiarity with social media and other digital channels is a distinct advantage, as is experience in the bathroom, plumbing and builders merchant sectors. You will be responsible for delivering a first-class service to your client portfolio in addition to driving profitable growth. Your portfolio is strategically important to our business, spanning the trade sector and including blue chip merchant, bathroom, and building materials brands, and offers superb potential for growth. You will be a natural relationship developer and confident in leading a team to develop and deliver compelling and creative tactics and campaigns. You will be versatile, entirely comfortable with traditional and contemporary PR techniques and a very capable writer, but also confident integrating your thinking and working with colleagues to take ideas multi-channel where appropriate. Campaign Ownership: Direct the team to plan media relations activity, develop feature ideas and news hooks to secure high quality coverage and support the strategic objectives for each client Together with your team, write a wide range of PR content, and take responsibility for quality control and adherence to client messaging, tone of voice, etc Hold quarterly meetings with each client to review performance and plan future activity Monitor the campaigns you have implemented to ensure they are delivering against agreed client and agency objectives Oversee creative sessions to develop ideas, where required, working with the Creative team to implement those ideas into effective communication strategies Direct and drive research, pitches and tenders utilising the team to ensure a high level of input Who will you be? You will be client facing a large percentage of the time – from taking a brief and offering guidance, delivering results and KPI’s from previous campaigns, and pitching for new business.
