With a number of well-established customers and a strong order book for the future, this market leading engineering business is seeking a commercially focused, forward thinking and proactive HR Manager to provide a generalist service to the business.
Working as part of the Site Management Team you will lead a newly established – and highly capable – HR team in order to ensure the business receives a best-in-class service. As HR Manager you will develop and implement the site HR strategy in line with the site and business objectives, being accountable for successful performance against agreed people measures.
Through the management of the team you will ensure the delivery of Group HR initiatives across the site. Being proactive you must be able to identify and solve problems before they arise!
The current HR structure has created a specialised, proactive model that supports the needs of the business today and in the future, allowing for scalability when required by the business. With this in mind you – as HR Manager – will act as a partner to the business to realise the strategy through utilisation and development of the HR team.
To be considered for this role you will be:
Level 7 CIPD qualified (or working towards);
A generalist HR practitioner with experience gained within an engineering environment;
Adapt at managing a team (coupled with having had experience of this);
Experienced in having previously managed Trade Union relationships (or other representative bodies);
Able to develop team members.
