The Winding Wheel is a large community pub situated in Cannock, surrounding by local amenities. The pub is an established sports venue and attracts a selection of customers. Trading Area and Private Accommodation The main trading area caters for a selection of customers and includes a family area for diners, bar section for drinkers and includes a pool table and Sky Sports for sport enthusiasts. The pub also benefits from a patio area and car park. The private accommodation consists of three bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen and bathroom. There is also an enclosed rear yard. Customer Base and the Local Area The Winding Wheel is known in the area as the sports pub with large drop down screen, Sky Sports and BT. It mainly attracts a male orientated clientele however, there is an opportunity to develop the day trade with families and a more mature audience as the pub is situated in a residential area and close to all local amenities. Business Potential The Winding Wheel currently trades at over £10,000 per week however, there is scope to achieve in excess of this figure by appealing to a wider audience and engaging with the local community. Person requirements To be successful in this role you will need to have experience of running a successful pub business, with a proven track record in implementing profit-driving sales ideas. You will be passionate about the industry and up for the challenge of being the driving force behind a community based pub, developing the business through your experience and knowledge.
