Procurement officer role which would involve procurement administration, delivery of procurement exercises and more. The role will have much opportunity to be involved in all elements of the procurement function.
The client is a large customer focused organisation which has a great presence in the public sector across the UK.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage procurement activity in line with policy and procedures and current Public Contracts Regulations legislation
Deliver procurement exercises to an agreed procurement plan
Responsible for ensuring all procurement is done in accordance with Public Contracts Regulations
Identify operational and process issues and proactively propose and implement solutions
Provide support on business continuity testing
Act as single point of contact for accommodation related issues, liaise with external stakeholders and colleagues
The successful candidate will have:
- Knowledge of procurement
- Strong organisational skills
- Stakeholder management
- Good problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- OJEU knowledge (desirable)
The candidate will be offered a salary of £23,000-£26,000, a level of autonomy and will be given a good amount of responsibility.
