Children's Support Worker
Support Worker required for immediate start in Coventry, full and part time hours, working with care leavers
Your new company
Hays are working with several organisations that provide supported accommodation for care leavers, you would be working on a full or part time basis on a variety of shifts with those between 16 and 24 years of age.
Your new role
In your new role as a Support Worker you will be providing day to day whilst promoting individuals to be as independent as possible. You will be assisting with benefits, housing and budgeting whilst supporting with emotional needs. You will need to work to the individual care plans whilst following company policy.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role as a support worker you will need to have a level 3 qualification working with children and young people and have recent work experience within the social care sector. You will need to be able to provide references covering the last 2 years of employment.
