National Health and Safety Manager job for the top specialist health provider in the UK. £40k - £50k +benefits

Your new company
Working for the top independent Occupational Health provider in the UK, your role as Service Delivery Director will ensure excellent customer relations and smooth operational delivery of services across a successful client portfolio. The organisation have a fantastic reputation in the market and have grown both organically and through acquisition to a £50m business, and from 350 to 800 employees nationwide.

Your new role
Your role will be to protect the health and safety standards throughout the organisation, in accordance with current health and safety legislation. You will participate in creating, maintaining and improving HSE initiatives in the workplace, whilst managing the company's overall Corporate Risk register - identifying risks and implementing plans to prevent, reduce or avoid. You will ensure all Health & Safety documentation is fully compliant with current legislation and undertake frequent site inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations where appropriate. The organisation have c60 locations nationwide and the role will include regular UK travel, to provide Health and Safety guidance and support to Managers across the business.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have previously operated as a Health and Safety Officer or Manager within a similar sized organisation. You will have the ability to effectively work with others and to tight deadline, and have excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
