FMC are working in partnership with a global medical technology business that are a dominant world leader in the provision of surgical systems. This is an exciting time to be joining the UK operations, which has strong growth projections alongside new products currently being launched into the market coupled with a strategic reorganisation.
The role
A market leader, our client are focused on implementing innovative optical technologies into their specialist range of diagnostic and surgical equipment. They have an impressive reputation for providing healthcare professional with outstanding visualisation across Neuro, Ophthalmology, ENT and Spinal clinical disciplines.

We are looking for a sales professional to join the established team with the focus of supporting one of the organisations key product segments (ophthalmic diagnostic systems).

They are currently going through an exciting period of expansion and development within their global operations and the UK has been identified as their key focus for investment, product launches and market growth.
The requirements
We are looking for a candidate with a demonstrable sales track record of working within medical sales with a focus on diagnostic systems. This will ideally be within ophthalmology however we could potentially consider other areas of diagnostic imaging:
Must have either existing experience of developing commercial relationships across all levels of staff within a NHS and Private Hospital environments
Proven track record in medical sales - ideally some capital equipment experience
Accustomed to supporting products within hospital and clinical environments
Ability to manage a long-term sales process and support each step of this
Technically minded with the ability to absorb information and translate this into engaging information for the customer
Some experience of supporting new product launches or established products into new markets would be ideal
