Everyone Active - Front of House Receptionist (Customer Service Apprenticeship)

What will the role involve?
We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic candidates to work as part of a friendly
team to provide a fun, safe and quality experience for all of our customers. The job will involve:

Service Development
• Financial transactions are complete without error

A safe, secure, clean, well maintained facilities that are accessible and inclusive for all.
• Ensure that the reception, and associated offices and storage area are kept clean and free from clutter.
• Ensure all customer information is readily available
• Undertake duties as per the standard operating procedures laid out in The Everyone Active Management System.

Offer a warm and friendly welcome every time.
Deliver a customer experience that generates customer compliments.
Listen, value and respond to all comments made by customers.
• Start shifts on time
• Wear uniform as per the company standard
• Ensure that the Customer Care' and Bookings and Reception' standards are delivered consistently as per the company procedures.
• Deliver a customer experience that generates customer compliments
• Ensure knowledge of Site programmes, activities and special offers

Personal Qualities :
To be a peoples person as this role will be very social with constant communication face to face with staff and customers in a positive, fitness, feel good environment.

Skills Required :
To be polite, friendly and enthusiastic towards the role as you will be dealing with a lot of different customers all trying to achieve different fitness goals.
To have good IT skills and be compactible with Microsoft office/word and using emails
To be well presented and have some interest in fitness/sports - to build connection with customers
Be able to communicate effectively via verbal/written/electrical
To be confident using the phone and dealing with all types of enquires/complaints

Future Prospects :
Continued employment or possible progression within the company.

Training to be Provided :
Functional Skills in English and Maths
• Certificate in Customer Service Level 2

Other Information :
From 1st of April 2017 the National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the national Minimum Wage appropriate to their age applies. The minimum wage for apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
