Full Time
We are currently recruiting for a Chemsex Project Worker on a fixed term contract until October 2018. Our mission is to empower those we support to set their own goals and vision, realise their full potential and live free from discrimination, equipped with the confidence and skills to contribute to the communities in which they live. Summit Support has been supporting people in Dudley and Sandwell since 1992.  Working with a number of diverse communities we support people in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse, people living with HIV and the LGBTQIA communities.  Those we support suffer multiple disadvantages, many come from the most deprived communities and often face discrimination and social exclusion in their day to day lives.  Out of our building in the heart of Dudley, Summit has an excellent reputation for delivering customer focused interventions. The Morning After Project (MAP) is a Black Country project focusing on education and harm reduction in the practice of chemsex. The project focuses on reaching high risk groups; specifically, men who have sex with men (MSM) offering HIV and sexual health testing, 1:1 holistic support and working with other frontline practitioners to raise awareness of the risks and referral routes for MSM impacted by chemsex. The application form and Job Description can be found attached. CV’s are not accepted.  Closing Date: Midnight on 24th October Interviews will be held during w/c 30th October
