Senior/Associate Valuation Surveyor - Automotive & Roadside

Job Purpose: Colliers International is looking for an enthusiastic senior surveyor to director join the Automotive & Roadside team within the Alternative Markets division. With a strong client base and as part of a growing team and firm, there’s the chance to work in one of the most diverse property sectors. The emphasis of the work will be on agency, valuation and landlord and tenant matters, although consideration will be given to individuals with particular experience who want to focus on either agency, valuation and landlord and tenant work. The successful candidate will work with colleagues across the UK to develop relationships with owners, occupiers and landlords. They will be fully supported in developing their role as part of an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial team with good prospects for career development. Colliers International’s Automotive & Roadside team is one of the most experienced in the UK, with unparalleled knowledge of the sector and extensive specialist experience, from vehicle dealerships, motorway service stations, petrol filling stations, tyre and exhaust centres and roadside schemes and destinations. The team advises on acquisitions, leasing, disposals, investment, lease advisory, valuations, and M&A transactions, and has helped shape some of the UK’s most recognised Automotive & Roadside brands, institutional landlords and the sector’s most exciting newcomers. Main Responsibilities: Advising occupier and developer clients throughout the UK To develop client relationships and play a leading role in business generation Key skills: Experience of advising on disposals and acquisitions or have undertaken professional and landlord and tenant instructions within the Automotive, Retail or Leisure Sectors. Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills Must possess excellent presentation and negotiation skills Must possess very good project management skills Must possess sound IT skills, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Must be able to work effectively as part of a team Qualifications and experience: Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent.
