Are you an experienced Business Development Manager or Sales Engineer with experience of selling technical services into the Manufacturing Industry? Do you have a passion for developing new business from existing clients, lapsed clients and new business calls? Do you have a proven track record of growing existing clients net spend year on year? Are you looking to join a global leading engineering organisation with a focus on cutting edge technology in a number of markets?
This is a role that will be 75% existing clients, 25% new business. You will be rewarded with an extensive flexible benefits package!

The Department: Full range of after sales services and complete application solutions for a leading supplier of industrial robots, robot software and equipment.
Our client provide a range of Robotic services including advanced services, repairs, spares & replacements, consultation of existing systems, end of life services, maintenance and training as well as extensions, upgrades and retrofits. These are provided across a number of different industries where robots feature.
The wider business manufacture a multitude of products for a variety of industries.
Full coverage of the South of England and the Midlands. Ideally, candidates will be located in the West Midlands

Robotic after-service sales.
Increasing the net spend of existing accounts through annual reviews, renewals and meetings.
Main point of contact for customers on your patch (North England and Ireland) representing the client as an ambassador at all times.
Will need to spend some time per month developing business in Ireland (Existing and new)
Identify new business opportunities. The ability to 'cold call' potential customers at all seniority levels.
The attitude to want to further and develop their skills within robotics.
Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Sales contract and risk management skills.
A 'hunter' not a 'farmer'. Always looking for opportunities to increase revenue of existing customers.
Experience of service contract business development in one of the following industries: Automotive, Manufacturing, Robotics etc.
Good understanding of 'cell manufacturing'.
Full UK Driving licence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to present the client with a professional manner at all levels.
