Our client is looking to recruit a Caretaker to join their busy Head Office on a temp-perm basis.

Their main responsibilities will be:

  • Comfortable with working with a cross section of all levels within the business
  • Delivering and receiving packages and parcels
  • Comfortable with DIY (sample product builds)
  • Sample management
  • Basic electrical knowledge (light bulb changing/ fuse replacement)
  • Basic plumbing knowledge (sink leaks)
  • Basic car fleet knowledge - vehicle checks (screen wash/ oil/ ad blue/ deflated tyres)
  • Supervising external contractors
  • Basic IT knowledge (emails, able to find and save documents /Word and Excel)
  • Basic fire health and safety awareness (slips/ trips- cleaning up hazardous spillages)
  • Support the enforcement of fire health and safety policies within the working areas- reporting of hazards (speeding/ fire exits)
  • Support office standards - reporting of cleaning standards
  • Waste management
  • Basic WEEE/ recycling knowledge
  • Ownership of a vending machine process- restocking /stock ordering / date checking /waste management/ problem solving/ retail checking)
  • Stock control in kitchens and vending machines
  • Basic petty cash handling
  • Covering colleagues when necessary
  • Working at multiple sites (must be able to drive)
  • Aiding office relocations

The role holder will have the ability to multitask and respond to varying demands of the department. You should possess good communication skills and be experienced complying with health and safety regulations.
