Legal Secretary - Commercial Litigation

A regional firm with a very solid reputation is looking to appoint an experienced Legal Secretary to join its established Commercial Litigation Team and be based at the firms' Wolverhampton office.

The firm can trace its roots back to well over a century and is able to boast a very rich heritage. Notwithstanding its traditions, it is renowned as being a forward thinking and innovative practice that invests heavily in technology and was one of the first firms in the area to take advantage in the legal framework changes to acquire non-legal business that complement its current offering.

As a consequence of sustained growth due to the firms high standing in the market, the Commercial Litigation Team is keen to appoint an experienced legal secretary who has experience in dealing with a wide remit of commercial litigation matters. You will produce a variety of documentation and attend clients both in person and on the telephone as well as produce bills and deal with other financial administration. You will manage individual diaries and undertake a variety of general administration matters to include planning and organising meetings, making travel arrangements and organising and maintaining departmental filing systems and document storage.

It is vital applicants have an accurate typing speed of 60+ wpm, have had previous experience as a legal secretary within another solicitors practice and be confident organising large volumes of documents.
