Purchase Ledger Clerk required for an exciting permanent opportunity in Dudley working within a small finance team. You will be responsible for all aspects of the purchase ledger in line with the company's controls and procedures including processing up approximately 500 invoices per month and processing them for payment, reconciling statements, keeping a clean and tidy ledger, dealing with queries and any other general duties as required.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk that is AAT qualified or qualified by experience to a similar level. You must have previous experience using a computerised accounting system within a busy accounts environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and a good telephone manner. A proactive and organised approach and strong Excel skills are a must for this role.

Our client is a well established dynamic business based in Dudley who offer on site parking, a good working environment, 22 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays) and a statutory pension. The hours of work are Monday to Friday (full time) 9am - 5pm (1 hour lunch).
