Easter start, maternity cover, KS3 and KS4 only, full time, Ofsted 'Good' school, paid to the MPS.
Hays Education are very proud to be working on behalf of an Ofsted 'Good' Sandwell secondary school in to recruit for a Sociology and Humanities teacher to start after Easter 2018. This is a full time teaching role up to KS4 to cover a period of maternity until at last Easter 2019.

Your new role
In your new secondary teaching job you will be expected to plan interesting and challenging Sociology and Humanities lessons that will engage pupils and you will have the natural ability to deliver them with confidence and enthusiasm. The role is full time and will consist of teaching KS3 and KS4 classes. All sociology lessons will be KS4. We would expect the successful candidate to fulfil all aspects of the teaching role which includes; planning, marking, completing reports, data collections, and full duties. Due to the nature of the post it is offered as 'paid to MPS scale'.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your new teaching job you will have completed your studies and hold QTS. You will be an experienced Sociology and Humanities teacher that is passionate about student progress and is committed to helping pupils to achieve their academic potential. The ideal candidate would have been in a long term or permanent teaching role and will be able to supply Hays with outstanding references from the previous employer.
