We currently have a vacancy in Stratford-Upon-Avon for a leading multi-site law firm, for an experiencedIT Network Manager.

Person specification:

The candidate would ideally have experience of working within a legal environment be certified with VMware VCP (or higher), Citrix CCA (or higher) and Microsoft MCSE or have 5+ years of customer facing hands-on support, maintenance and installation with the technologies listed below:

  • VMware ESX/ESXi
  • SAN Technologies
  • Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2 and 2012
  • Exchange 2010, 2013 and DAG
  • Office 365
  • RDS, Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop
  • Server hardware (preferably HP)
  • Active Directory, Group Policy and Domain Services
  • TCP/IP, VLAN, switching, routing and firewall configuration, VPNs and WAN environments
  • Corporate wireless systems
  • Symantec Backup Exec
  • Virtual server backup technologies such as Veeam and vRanger

It would also be beneficial to have experience of:

  • VMware Site Recovery Manager
  • Citrix Netscaler and Access Gateway
  • Microsoft SQL 2003 - 2012R2
  • SharePoint 2013
  • Anti-virus technologies
  • Web, E-mail Security
  • Experience of ISO27001
  • DMS\CMS platforms and other legal applications
  • Mobile Device and Application Management

Applicants are required to have proven experience of technical project implementation and troubleshooting, possess exceptional customer service and communication skills with an ability to develop and build strong stakeholder relationships.

Attention to detail is a must with a methodical and professional approach to service delivery including appropriate due diligence, planning, documentation and engagement with management, support staff and third parties.

This role requires line management of an on-site IT support staff, therefore, management\supervisory experience would be beneficial. Candidates with experience of ITIL based service management and/or development of IT services within the legal sector will have a distinct advantage.

Working hours:

Operational hours: 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday (Staggered shift pattern).

Occasional overtime may be required to meet the demands of the business.
