Job Profile for Technical Sales Engineer - LEV / Fume Extraction - TP109373

Technical Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required for a well-established and growing provider of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) or Dust and Fume Extraction units for the Manufacturing industries. The successful Business Development Manager or Area Sales Manager will ideally be based in Central England and have a proven background in the Sales of LEV / Fume Extraction units.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and driven Technical Sales professional in the LEV industry to join a well-established and growing team who work on a range of exciting projects across the UK.

Technical Sales Engineer - LEV / Fume Extraction Position Overview

  • Developing business within the Manufacturing industry with a consultative approach to solution sales
  • Providing quotes or estimates on the LEV units to customers
  • Carrying out site surveys at customer sites throughout the UK
  • Assisting the Service team with the sales of Service Contracts
  • Liaising with the head office on design work and quotations
  • Attending weekly meetings at the Head Office, and providing updates on sales processes and developments

Technical Sales Engineer - LEV / Fume Extraction Position Requirements

  • Experience in a Sales focused role within the LEV / Fume Extraction industry
  • Full UK Driving License & happy with regular UK wide travel
  • Ideally P601, P602 & P603 qualified
  • Degree qualified in an Engineering / Manufacturing industry desirable
  • Experience selling to Manufacturers
  • Strong communications skills

  • Salary £40K - £60K - Dependent Upon Experience
  • Bonus + Company Car Allowance
  • Pension
