Are you an Escada specialist with Telemetry experience seeking to progress your career in a FTSE 100 company? Are you an expert in creating, maintaining and configuring systems? If so we’d love to hear from you.

We have an excellent opportunity to come and join our team in Coventry right in the heart of the city centre at our award winning headquarters within our Network Control department.

Severn Trent Water has a Telemetry estate of over 6000 sites spread across the heart of the UK; utilising our Escada system. As an Escada Engineer you will work centrally, taking the lead in the resolutions of queries/ incidents/ problems applying these to in-house systems & applications on a day to day basis.

You will be responsible for ensuring business processes and requirements are enabled and supported for telemetry solutions, both technically and functionally. This includes the investigating, analysing and the diagnosis of problems in order to deliver the required levels of service to support various IS and operational teams.

You will work and build relationships with both internal stakeholders and external Support Service Providers to ensure our response to incidents is swift and robust. You will also support and up-skill users, providing teams with process & system expertise to proactively support and appropriately influence stakeholder and end-user decision making.

Let’s talk about what skills or experience you’ll need to be able to do the job:

We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and the ability to plan, organise and prioritise their own workload. You will have a good background in Escada/Telemetry with knowledge of either water distribution, treatment processes or waste water treatment processes.

You will have demonstrable experience of all aspects of Support Analysis including, the analysis and diagnosis of system / application incidents and will be confident in stakeholder engagement and have confidence and credibility to influence working relationships.

You will have Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Office with experience in Escada. Experience working with MIMIC would be ideal although not required, previous experience in the utility industry experience would be desirable.

Finally, we’re seeking a highly self-motivated individual who enjoys and embraces challenge with an analytical and problem solving approach, someone who can work both independently and as part of a team with a focus on quality and results.

Qualifications:

* GCSE Maths and English, Level C or Equivalent (Essential)
* Educated to A Level (or equivalent) (Essential)
